MissionThe Mount Vernon Honor Academy is committed to providing our students with exemplary instruction that will nurture intellectual curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking.  We will prepare and inspire all students to embrace the challenges of the future with the utmost confidence and compassion.
Our goal is to foster creative and independent lifelong learners who strive to solve complex problems through reflection, risk taking, and critical thinking. MVHA staff will strive to educate the whole child with dignity.  In turn each student will develop intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially.

We are dedicated to creating a supportive school community where children, parents and staff maintain mutual respect and trust for one another.  This partnership between school, home and community is the basis that guides our practice.
